Frequently asked questions
I do not. I try to minimize the likelihood of cross-contamination as much as possible so my baking equipment is not used for treats with gluten. If you don't normally eat gluten-free, I think you'll be surprised how much you like these treats! And your allergy-sensitive friends will appreciate being included! :-)
Cookies are best eaten right away, but they will stay fresh for up to two weeks in their sealed bag. If cookies will not be enjoyed within 2 weeks they can be frozen to retain freshness (just place packaged cookies inside a freezer bag). If you have frozen your cookies, bring them back to room temperature over at least 8 hours, keeping them in the freezer container and their bags to avoid condensation ruining the icing designs. Do not refrigerate decorated sugar cookies. Refrigeration provides moisture that will ruin the icing.
For classes that include wine, yes. You must be at least 21 years old. For private classes, there are no age restrictions.
My public classes are adults only due to the venue. However, I am happy to do kids' classes for private events if I have availability. Please contact me if you would like to discuss a class for children.
DIY kits are for pick-up at my classes. Other orders are for local pickup from my residence in Lakeside (East County San Diego). The address will be provided after payment and booking. Delivery may be offered for local customers for a fee if I can fit it in my schedule.
